Executive Director Opportunity
GroundSwell, Winnipeg’s only dedicated new music concert series, is seeking a full time Executive Director.
The Executive Director works in collaboration with the Artistic Coordinator, Curators and reports to a Board of Directors.
GroundSwell is a new music performance organization that encompasses a five concert series and an education and outreach program. GroundSwell is seeking a dynamic and energetic Executive Director to lead our organization and ensure the successful implementation of our Strategic Plan. The Executive Director will manage operations and assist artistic directors and curators in the professional presentation of new music. The Executive Director will also be responsible for ensuring successful efforts in fund raising, community and public relations, marketing and performance productions. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing grant applications, working independently and have financial management experience. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of arts management experience, working with a board of directors in a not for profit environment and preferably with performance arts. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. This is a full time position, with some weekend and evening hours.

Horse Country (the magazine for prairie horse people) is looking for a copywriter for three projects. Project A is an introductory letter to prospective advertisers. Project B is a renewal letter series to lapsing subscribers. Project B is direct mail to prospective subscribers.
